The Piehl Auto Group has expanded its footprint across the Quad-City area with a prime location on Davenports Elmore Avenue for its new Carver Blackwell Piehl dealership and its acquisition of Maple Leaf in Geneseo, Ill. Greg Piehl said Carver Blackwell Piehl will carry between 100 and 150 premium used vehicles. “We specialize in cars that are five years old and newer,” he said, adding that the Moline dealership also is a premium used car dealership.The new Davenport addition also will offer a service department. “We see a really big need for the service business up in that area,” Piehl said, adding that the facility will be branded as NAPA Auto Cares service center.The dealership houses a 6,000-square-foot showroom as well as many modern amenities, including five 55-inch LED televisions throughout the building. Piehl said the building, constructed in 2005, required only basic interior improvements before reopening it.
